Wow! It surely has been f o r e v e r since I have logged on and wrote about what is happening in my classroom. I am DETERMINED to carry through with my blog ALL year long this year! Lots has been happening in room 15 (or shall I saw room 23 now)! First- I am looping with my kids! I am so excited for this opportunity, it has made this summer so exciting! I have loved being able to plan already knowing my students! Also- I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade on the best team at my school (I may be a little bit partial!) Hehe!
This year I am going to be a TAP mentor teacher. I am THRILLED to have this opportunity and cannot wait to see what this year and this responsibility has in store for me. I guarantee this is going to be a ton of work, but I am so excited for the challenge and cannot wait to see how it improves my teaching abilities.
And finally... I am going to start my master's degree! I have given myself a year of debate and think that it is time! Why not do it sooner rather than later... right?
I am so excited for these changes that are happening this year- I am excited beyond belief to start and see how the year plays out.
